Checked into the Standard Queen Room for one night. The staff at the reception was the friendliest part of my stay. They were accommodating when I mentioned needing assistance with my room. Unfortunately, the room itself lacked cleanliness. I noticed dirt on the floor and stains on the carpet that made me uneasy. The bathroom had certain areas that clearly hadn't seen a cleaning in a while. There was even some debris left on the sink counter. Wi-Fi struggled to keep a connection, which was frustrating when trying to plan my next day. No breakfast options were available, which was disappointing given my long trip. Although the room had a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, the overall unpleasant atmosphere made it hard to relax. I couldn't shake off the feeling that maintenance was seriously lacking. The mattress felt old, possibly leading to a poor night's sleep. Something definitely needs to change to improve this place.

The girl at the front desk was super helpful with trying to fix problems. My room was quiet aside from some noise from the freeway. Overall, it made for a decent stay for a couple of nights.

Had a fantastic getaway with my friends! We enjoyed amazing attractions like the Big Red Barn and Murray Family Farms. The location was great, and the staff were super friendly. Just a heads-up, they don’t serve breakfast, so grab some snacks before you arrive.

Helpful staff but a roach-infested nightmare

I stayed for 3 nights and was constantly battling roaches in my room. The internet was slow, and there's no breakfast as advertised. The room had a bad odor, and the beds were not clean, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The only positive was the helpful staff who did their best given the circumstances.

This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, flat-screen tv, and 24-hour reception. The staff provided great travel tips during my first stay. I definitely recommend it for a weekend escape.

Just an ideal choice for a weekend outing in Bakersfield with all in all brilliant value for money. The towels were thin, but still worked okay for a quick shower. Bring your own toiletries, as none were offered.
